PETALING JAYA | Six suspects, consisting of four women and two men aged 26 to 51, have been arrested on suspicion of falsifying and selling medical certificates around Kajang.
Kajang police chief Zaid Hassan said the suspects were detained in several locations within the district on Friday and Saturday, according to Sinar Harian.
“The suspects are believed to have been actively involved in selling medical certificates for the past year at RM30 to RM50 apiece,” he said.
The cops also confiscated a laptop, eight headphones, five pen drives, six medical certificate books, 241 medical certificates, and 10 official receipts from a clinic.
The suspects will be investigated under Section 420 of the Penal Code for cheating.
