KUALA LUMPUR | The government has decided that employees in both private and public sectors, involving management and supervisory levels, are to work from home, effective Oct 22.
This would apply to employees and staff members in areas currently placed under the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO), namely Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya and Sabah.
A more detailed list of work-from-home jobs would be issued by the International Trade and Industry Ministry (MITI), announced Senior Defence Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob today.
There are however certain exemptions for those who would still need to work from the office, but they are required to undergo a Covid-19 swab test.
