A worker from an unspecified company in Shenzhen, China, became the center of attention when he won a year’s worth of paid leave at his company’s annual dinner.
The viral video showed that the man, identified as Ms Chen, was holding a big check with the words “365 days of paid leave.”
Ms Chen can be seen being flabbergasted in the video, where he was asking repeatedly to clarify if the prize was real.
Due to the pandemic, the company couldn’t hold its annual dinner, according to Chinese media, and a lucky draw was held to help lessen the workers work stress.
Ms Chen added that he will discuss with the company if he would prefer to convert it to a check or enjoy his paid leave for 365 days.
