PETALING JAYA | A two-day conference to help businesses transform their human resources practices by leveraging on technology will be organised by the Malaysian Institute of Human Resource Management (MIHRM).

The HRiTECH 2023 conference will be the first of its kind and will help introduce human resources professionals to identify innovative and cost-effective technological solutions.

Visitors to the event themed “Empowering HR Through Disruptive Innovations” can look forward to insight on social media, mobile apps and online platforms for recruitment.

At the conference, experts will also discuss improving human resources data management, automation of compensation and benefits processes, and the utilisation of technology to better manage employees working remotely, among others.

“While Malaysian businesses have generally been quick to embrace HR technological solutions, many have been caught off guard, particularly by the sudden and unprecedented changes wrought by Covid-19”, said MIHRM president Simon Benjamin in a statement.

He said this included small and medium-sized enterprises that are constrained by resources and access to information about HR technological solutions.

“We hope our HRiTECH 2023 conference will provide them with the ideal platform to transform their HR practices by leveraging on the latest technology to better support their businesses in these challenging times.”

The conference, organised in partnership with the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) and CBMTI Sdn Bhd, will be held at the Sunway Pyramid Convention Centre on Feb 15 and 16.
