Kuala Lumpur | Flexible benefits marketplace, WorkMart, in collaboration  with OCBC Bank and WorkSmartly, hosted a seminar today titled “Personalising People  Benefits Seminar” to help businesses gain a competitive edge in the talent market. Held at  Sime Darby Convention Centre, the seminar featured a panelist line-up of industry experts  and academic professionals from Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC), STRAVIK,  Sorga Innovations, and Roche.

With nearly 75% of Malaysian employees citing benefits as a deciding factor in their  employment decisions, the seminar focused on strategies to create more intuitive employee

benefits, as well as its contribution to greater workplace productivity and overall talent  management. The session also covered how human resource (HR) professionals, C-level  executives, and business owners can each implement different measures to foster work  cultures centered around employee well-being.

Besides individual speaking segments, the event culminated in a panel discussion where the  invited speakers shared their insights on designing a total rewards strategy to attract and retain  top talent. Attendees also walked away with insights on how to align various forms of rewards  to an organization’s overall business strategy and values, including holistic performance  management, non-monetary incentives, and long-term wellness programs.

In addition to the keynote speaker presentations, the Personalizing People Benefits seminar  also included the first-ever live public demo of WorkMart’s platform and practical insights on  how to leverage HR technology for workplace initiatives.

As a fast-growing digital HR solution provider, WorkSmartly introduced WorkMart to assist  companies in offering personalized benefits to their employees.
