KUALA LUMPUR | Human capital management solution provider RAMSSOL Group said employee engagement is key in digital transformation.
It said the connection between an employee and the employer plays a significant role in how successful a business is and how successful it will be.
Commenting on Budget 2021, RAMSSOL managing director and group chief executive officer (CEO) Cllement Tan said the firm is encouraged by the government’s focus on ensuring digital connectivity for all Malaysians.
He said while the current global health crisis had accelerated the digitalisation process, many are still in urgent need of support in their transformation journey.
“The initiatives underlined by the government, specifically the RM1 billion allocated for reskilling and upskilling programmes, RM7.4 billion for the MCMC (Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission) to increase broadband service in 2021 and 2022, and the provision of RM1.5 billion worth of data by telcos (telecommunications companies) will certainly put Malaysia on a path of recovery and future-proof the economy in the near future.
“Any digitalisation process must include measures to increase employee engagement, more so as the trend of remote working will continue in the coming years,” he said.
